Chapter 3

Miku walked into the hall way and looked at Ryu and sat on the bench next to him. "Um...we need to talk. I think we should skip class today." she took his hand. "Lets go. We have to talk please." she said softly as she fought back tears. What was he going to say? What was he going to do when she told him about the baby...their baby...they were just sixteen! She knew their familys would freak out...Oh gosh what if they tried to make her get rid of it! She felt more tears threatening and he saw the look on her face and nodded as he tightened his hold on her hand and hurried with her from school.

Once off the school grounds he stopped next to a large tree and looked at her. "Miku whats the matter hun? You look like your going to start crying again." he said as he pet her face and pushed her beautiful hair back behind her ears. Her beautiful eyes looked so scared and worried.

"R-Ryu...I'm pregnant. I...The nurse had me do a test and I am...Don't hate me please! Don't leave! Don't let them take our baby!" she said as she wrapped her arms around him and cried as she held him close. She hid her face in his chest and cried as she wondered how he would take the news.

But truthfully Ryu was happy. He was going to ba a father! With Miku! A baby! He nuzzled her and pulled her back just a little so he could look down at her with a smile. "Miku i'll never leave you. Not ever! And a baby! Oh gosh Miku we'll be a family! We can tell them now, we don't have to hide. I can work after school at my cousins bakery and on weekends there too! We'll get a place with some help from anyone who will help us. Do...Do you want to get married Miku? I'll marry you! If it makes your mother and father happy I will I promise! I wont make you raise our baby alone! I love you Miku I promise." he said kissing her.

His words only made Miku cry harder as she nodded. Married! He wanted to marry her! Oh he wasn't leaving! And no one would take the baby from them! It would be perfect! Beautiful! He was staying and wanted a life with her. She laughed and kissed him and smiled. "Yes I'll marry you. Of course! Ryu I never have wanted anyone but you. Always and forever my Ryu!" she said as she hugged him tight. He smiled back and kissed her again.

"Lets go home then and tell them whats up. We'll see how upset they get and we'll get help some where else if they are too unhappy about it. I just know I love you and wont leave you I promise." he said taking her hand and heading to her home.

Her mother was home and was confused to see them both back from school so early. But Miku was still looking a little ill and was obvious she had been crying and her mother was instantly worried about something having happened at school.

"Miku what happened? Ryu why does it look like shes crying? Is she hurt?" she said going over to her and looking over her daughter. Miku looked at Ryu nervously and then took her mothers hand.

"Mom...Ryu and I have been....dating for the last few months...And...we just found out..." she started to cry again and looked at her mother. "I'm pregnant mom...Its Ryus. I've only ever been with Ryu. But...He said he will marry me, he wont leave me. He'll help and make an honest woman out of me. He'll work after school and everything! Please don't hate him its my fault just as  much as it is his." she said as she looked at him. "I love him so much mom..."

Mikus mom looked shocked and looked at Ryu who was blank looking but seemed to give off this look like he was staying, he was going to be by her side and be a father to the baby. She wasn't happy about this, her sixteen year old daughter getting married and pregnant! She looked at Miku and frowned. "Are you sure your ready? Are you sure that...this is what you want right now? I mean...I don't want to make you do this. Is this really what both of you want?" She looked from one to the other and they both nodded and Miku sniffled a little. "Your father is going to be unhappy...but you...You both have my blessing if this is what you want. Truely what you want. I wasn't ready to be a grandma this early in life but i guess its working out and at least i'll get to spend a nice long time with the grandkid!" she said as she hugged Miku.

"Thanks mom! Oh thanks so much!" She said as she hugged her back tightly. Her mother told her that she had some money set aside in Mikus name for school, collage or extra classes, but she could use it to help them get a place and pay for the wedding. Miku was so excited. But they would need to first win over her father.

Ryu knew his family wasn't going to be of much help. They cared about him enough to get him fed and give him what he wanted but he knew they wouldn't be too happy about him messing up on the path they wanted him to do by getting Miku pregnant. He went home to change, while Miku and her mother made a nice big dinner so they could bring the subject up to her dad when he got home.

On the way back from his house he ran into his friend, Akito, and the male pushed him. "You skipped class. So did Miku I heard. Whats wrong? I got your homework and one of the other girls from Mikus class has hers." he said as he looked at him. "Your heading the wrong way for home. Are you going to go see Miku? You spent all day with her I'm sure. Man did you turn her into a sex slave who hungers for you all the time? Is that why you missed all day of school?" he asked, only to get hit in the arm by Ryu.

"Man knock it off...Shes not well...I don't know who all is supposed to know...But you can't tell anyone! If i hear this getting around i'm kicking your ass understand?" He said. Akito rubbed his arm and nodded. Ryu sighed and ran his hand through his haid. "Shes pregnant...We're going to have a baby. My baby! Our baby! God Akito I didn't think it would happen when I was this young but I'm so happy! I got my ring that my grandma gave me before she died. She told me to give it to the one girl whos always made me happy more then she has made me mad and Miku has never made me mad...We're making a dinner with her mom to try and see if her father lets us stay together." he said looking at his friend. "Tell anyone and I'll punch your teeth out." he said.

Akito looked shocked. "You got that tiny girl pregnant! Well I wont have to tell anyone they will see for them selves in three months when she starts to show. Good luck man! Hope the dinner goes over well!" he said as he laughed and waved off his friend as he walked down a hill towards Mikus house. He was so happy he was going to get Miku for ever! It was wonderful, or it would be if her father didn't throw a fit.

He got to her house and saw her in a cute little dress with her hair pulled from her face and clipped back in a bow. He smiled and smelled the most wonderful smells in the house. "You look beautiful." he said kissing her face and smiling.

She blushed and smiled. "Thanks. Mom is getting dressed now. She was telling me what to expect and everything...She called my brother and asked him to go to a friends for dinner cause her and dad were having dinner together. So he doesn't know yet. She'll let me tell him when dad knows." she said nervously. "I'm scared hes going to be mad with you...Are you going to tell your parents?" she asked softly.

He shook his head and looked at her. "They will just be upset with me that I'm not doing what they want like being a doctor or something. I'll do that after wards. Theres plenty of time still to take classes and get a good job after collage. I have to follow my heart first and go with what I have made already." he said kissing her again.

They had tea and talked till her father came home. Miku and her mother greated him at the door and he was currious as to why they looked so dressed up and the house smelled of wonderful food. "Did I miss a special day or something? I thought that Miku and Kuri's birthday wasn't for a few months still." he said as he set her briefcase down and took off his coat. He walked in and saw the table all set up nicely with Ryu standing at the table waiting for everyone. "Ryu. Its nice to see you. Joining us for...what ever this is?" he asked looking around as he walked over.

"Yes sir I am. But this is more then just a special day. Its no ones birthday. Its special for more then that. Please sit." he said. Mikus father sat and Ryu took a breath and looked at Miku who was standing with her mother. "Miku and I have been hiding our relationship from...well everyone. For a few months now. Today at school we found out shes...pregnant. And to make everything right about this I would like your permission to marry Miku so we can be together and raise our child together." he said softly keeping straight and firm as he stood there. He watched her father and was worried when he crossed his arms and looked over at his daughter and wife.

"Is this true? You wish to marry him and your having a baby?" he asked softly as he looked over his daughter. She nodded and felt tears in her eyes.

"Y-yes father. I've never loved anyone like i love Ryu...It would mean so much if you would let us get married and keep this baby." she said with a nervous smile as she looked at Ryu. "He means so much to me and i know this baby will be the best thing to happen to both of us." she said placing her hands on her belly. "I'm excited and scared yes but I just want Ryu with me always." she said moving to him and taking Ryus hand.

Her father frowned and looked at them then looked at his wife. "Do you agree to this? Are you ok with our daughter marrieing off at this age and having a baby with Ryu? Hes her cousin by marriage alone so thats not a problem at least...But I'm sure his parents wont be happy....We don't need both sides upset with them to where we lose them so i guess I will agree to this. For now. You keep her happy! You get a job till your done with school and then go to collage. We'll give you what baby things we still have and help you get your own place. We will help with the wedding but if shes unhappy or mad or changes her mind at any point I wont let you see her again." he said giving Ryu a stern look.

Ryu smiled and bowed to him. "thank you sir. I wont let you or her down I promise."

Miku ran around the table and hugged her father happily! "Oh thank you daddy! Im so happy I promise that I know Ryu would never upset me over anything!" she said before they all sat down for dinner.

Over the next few months they helped Miku and Ryu find a place to live and got all the baby stuff her mother had out of storage. At least there was boy and girl stuff cause she wanted to be surprised about the gender. They moved in and when she was almost 4 months along she was showing and everyone knew at school. The teachers all said that Miku should stay at home and they would email her her homework. she needed to rest so she didn't upset her self.

After several more months she was round as a beach ball and she and the baby were healthy. Ryu got so soft with her and acted like she was made of glass as he talked to the belly and the baby and told him/her about anything and everything. The wedding was going to happen two months after the baby was born cause Miku didn't want to look like a mountain in the wedding photos.

In the middle of the night just two weeks from her due date she woke up in the middle of the night in pain and cried. Her mother had been sleeping on the couch for when she migt go into labor over the last week and she cried out causing Ryu to wake with a start and her mother to come in. "I...its all wet!" she said as she looked at the bed and her mother knew her water had broken. "Come hurry we don't have long. Ryu call her father and tell him to meet us all at the hospital." she said as she grabbed the bag for the hospital and the three of them headed out to her mothers car.

After hours and hours of labor Miku finally had the baby. Finally got him out. Healthy littly boy. He had the looks of dark hair like the both of them of course but the doctor said not to count on the eye color to last cause sometimes it changed after a few months. Right now it was a weird shade of blue but it might change.

They descided to name him Takahiro. He was beautiful and Miku was so happy. She fell asleep when everything was done and Ryu sat in the chair next to the bed holding their son. He smiled happily and nuzzled the baby before putting it in Mikus dads arms so he could sleep as well.

The wedding was had two months later. Just three weeks before her birthday. She was beautiful and the wedding was wonderful. Her brother was happy for her even if he was still a pest with her. But they knew they would be happy, always and forever. They would try in a year or two for another baby. Takahiro was enough for them right now with the wedding going on and Miku knew she wanted to enjoy time with him and with Ryu before they had another.

And evenutally they did have another. When Miku was almost nineteen she had a little girl that named Shirayuki. She was just as beautiful a Miku was and Takahiro loved her like any big brother should. It was wonderful and even though they had little fights like any married couple it worked. And Miku and Ryu would never change how anything had happened with them. Miku started a garden in the back yard when they got a house and sold veggies and fruit out of the yard and then moved on to sell plants that she grew. Ryu went to work at Mikus fathers buisness, law, but his strong poker face and attitude worked for it and he was able to make a lot of money to spoil his family and his beautiful Miku.
